Memory Terminal (Studio)

Klaipėda

A new exhibition at the KKKC Exhibition Hall offers an architectural perspective on the city of Klaipėda. Archetypes and Memory (AtMinties) Installations are the themes explored in two separate exhibition spaces by the Lithuanian Association of Architects' Klaipėda Chapter (LASKAO), which organized the traditional exhibition, and architect and artist Mantas Maziliauskas, the initiator of the pilot exhibition. What do archetypes mean in architecture? They represent fundamental and essential structures that have, over time, become symbolic. In LASKAO's exhibition, the focus is on Klaipėda's architectural heritage, with the aim of inspiring new creators and encouraging public interest in architecture and urban planning. In Mantas Maziliauskas' "Memory Terminal" (AtMinties laukiamajame), Klaipėda emerges as a visionary, dynamic cultural epicenter, deeply respectful of its history.
